3 days 2 nights: Ouarzazate, Merzouga and back to Ouarzazate.

 

Day 1: Ouarzazate, Dades Gorges , Skoura oasis, Roses valley, Toudgha gorges

 

After breakfast at a nice typical hotel of the region, we will have a short ride in the Kasbah of Taourirt, the roses valley and the road of 1000 kasbahs, where is the dense palmery of Skoura oasis, with thousands of palms stretching as far as the eye can see .A stop will be there to visit Amridil Kasbah before heading the road to roses valley for a break.Later on, you will take a side take off-roading to share a cup of tea with nomadic families. After visiting nomads, we will resume the road passing through the fabulous scenery of DADES GORGE, where the near-vertical rock strata have been eroded into fins and razorback ridges of red, green and ochre. We will stop for lunch at the fig vally.one hour later, we will arrive to the magnificent limestone ravine Toudgha gorges for the night.

 

Day 2: Toudgha Gorges, Ziz valley, Erfoud and Merzouga.

 

After breakfast, There time to walk by the valley to discover the Gorges before heading the road to the desert passing by the towns of Tinjdad and Erfoud ,the place that arise the exact feeling of taking us back millions of years ago to watch the fossils found by residents of Erfoud. After several stops to visit the Ziz valley, the fabulous black desert, and especially the breathtaking caves with their underground river 60 km long, we will arrive on the highest dunes of Morocco from the authentic desert of Erg Chebbi dunes. While admiring the sunset on the dunes. After a mint tea around the bivouac where music and folklore will charm you, and after a delicious typical dinner, you will spend a magical night under an authentic Berber tent, admiring the starry sky.

 

Day 3: Merzouga, Rissani,Alnif, Tazarine,Oasis of 45 kasbah, Draa valley and Ouarzazate.

 

After enjoying the sunrise, having breakfast, and refreshing yourself. We will take a different way back to Ouarzazate passing by the towns of Rissani, Alnif and Tazarine, famous for Henna agriculture, and we will make a stop for a traditional lunch in the oasis of 45 Kasbah. There the road joins to the Draa valley (Morocco’s longest river) a wide green swath of date palms pink mud villages. After visiting the palm grove, we will continue to explore the heart of the Atlas and the Black Canyon before being back at Ouarzazate.
